Parish Work Day Monday, August 16
Be the first to see the new school, volunteer to help move in! From 9:00 am to 8:00 pm on Monday, August 16 all parishoners are invited to help the teachers move into their new classrooms. There will be minor maintainence, painting, computer set-up, cleaning, and a whole lot of moving to be done. Come for as long or as short as you can. If you can't come until after work that will be fine. KMC students can receive parish hours
Start of School delayed 3 day
Due to construction, school will not begin on Wednesday, August 18 as origionally planned. The first day of school will be Monday, August 23.
Meet the Teacher and Open House
Due to the change in starting day, the Meet the teacher night will be rescheduled to Sunday, August 22 at 6:00pm. Unlike in the past students will be welcomed to this event. Everyone will start in the gym at 6:00 for a welcoming and opening comments. At 6:20, families will split into groups for tours on the new building. At 6:45, families will be encouraged to return to their cars and bring in all their students' school supplies. At 7:00, teachers will officially welcome families into their classrooms. Additional welcoming presentations will occur at 7:20 and 7:40 for families who have more than one child. |
