12/18/2011 - Bad weather policy.

The CSAL Athletic Director will notify all the school Athletic Directors and all three local news stations (3, 10, 12) and KFDI radio. The Resurrection Athletic Director, Kathy Holm, will notify the school, coaches, parents, gym supervisors, concession workers and scorekeepers.  Notice of the cancellations will also be posted on this web site.  The league will typically give 3 hours notice for cancellations due to weather.

11/18/2011 - The following documents have been updated:

•  2011-2012 6th Grade CSAL Master Schedule
  • Change: The 6th grade boys schedules have changed due to 3 teams dropping out: 1 from Notre Dame and 2 from Cathedral.
• 2011-2012 CSAL Master Sheet - All Teams
  • Change: The last two teams listed on the 7th grade team list was switched, team #23 is All Saints and #24 should be St. Mary-Newton.
• 2011-2012 Resurrection Basketball Teams Schedule - Updated Nov. 18
  • Change:  The 6th grade boys schedule has been changed to reflect the new schedule due to 2 teams dropping from Cathedral devision.  The opponent for the 7th grade boys game on Jan. 14 was changed from All Saints to St. Mary Newton.

RCS Middle School Basketball Information – 2011/2012

• September 30 - Registration form & $70 per player fee due.  Make checks payable to RCS Athletics.
• October 19 (6:30 p.m.) - Mandatory meeting for athlete & at least one parent.  If you attended the mandatory fall sports meeting, you do not need to attend this mandatory meeting.
• October 31 - 1st day practices can begin.  Sports physical dated after May 1, 2011 and concussion form is required.  Practices are typically 3 days a week and are held at the Resurrection Gym (unless a team has combined with another school and the practices may be at both locations).
• November 14-18 - Regular season schedules are available.
• November 28 – Regular season games begin.  December 19 is last game date before Christmas break, games resume after break on January 3.  6^th grade plays 8 regular season games and 7^th and 8^th grade play 10 regular season games.   6^th grade typically plays most of their games on Saturdays, but may have games on other weekday evenings.  Games can be on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday.  Games on weeknights are 5:30, 6:30, 7:30.  Saturday’s games start at 8:00 and last games are at 3:00.
• January 24 – Last regular season games.
• Last week January through middle of February - Post season tournament.
