2/27/2011 - Track Practice.  Track practice begins, Monday, February 28.  The schedule for the first two weeks can be found under Track Docs.  Other new documents have been added under Track Docs.

2/16/2011 - Track Registration.  Middle school track registration is due by Thursday, February 24. The registration form can be found under Track Docs.  A physical is required by the first practice. If your son/daughter participated in a fall or winter CSAL sport, a physical will already be on file.

RCS Middle School Track Information – 2011

• Thursday, February 24 – Track registration due.  A physical is required by the first practice.  Please turn in by Feb. 24.
• Thursday, February  24 – Track meeting in school library
  • 6:30 – Mandatory for parents and athletes who have not participated in any other sport this school year.  Jamie Finkeldei discusses eligibility and sportsmanship.
  • 6:45 – Parent meeting with track coaches.  Recommended to parents new to RCS track.  Optional for others.
• Monday, February 28 – Practices tentatively start the week of February 28 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays after school at WSU (carpooling is utilized).  Practice begins at 3:45 and typically ends around 5:15.  Some events may practice after 5:15.  Long distance runners may practice two additional days and may be at another location.  Long and high jump practice at Kapaun once or twice a week.  Depending on weather, the first week or two of practice may be at RCS.  Final practice information will be available by Feb. 24.
• Thursday, March 31 – Track Meet at The Independent School - 7^th & 8^th grade only  (12:15p.m-early evening)
• Saturday, April 16 – CSAL track meet at Bishop Carroll (7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
• Saturday, April 30 – CSAL track meet at Bishop Carroll (7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
• Saturday, May 7 – CSAL track meet at Bishop Carroll (7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)
